What if productivity was measured by the ways in which we allow ourselves to be moved by the seasons?
In the Summer, we allow more room for energy and intensity, fun and play.
In the Autumn, we quiet down and take time to reflect and let unhelpful parts of ourselves fall away with thanks.
In the Winter we rest and allow our bodies to burrow inwards for a while.
And in the Springtime, we slowly awaken into new, renewed ways of being, a rejuvenated springy self.
What if productivity was measured by the amount of time and energy we give to others - in honest conversation, being present, listening deeply.
What if it was measured by the gratitude we hold in our hearts, in a given moment, in a day.
What if, it was defined by the stillness we cultivate within ourselves, our inner peace and sense of harmony with our inner and outer worlds.
What if productivity was measured by the effort we make to stretch out of our comfort zones and learn new ideas, new ways of doing and being, creating something from our mere imagination?
May we all learn to be productive in this way.
Siana this is truly beautiful, written straight from your heart. I so agree. It's important to dream And to share that way what starts as a tiny stream can become a mighty wave
